Auricularia auricula-judae (Bull.) Quél. (Auriculariaceae, Basidiomycetes), a lignicolous edible mushroom, is a parasite that lives on plants. Its extrat was already tested against ATCC bacterial strains and it was showed the inhibitory effect against biofilm formation. The purpose of this study was preferentially aimed at evaluating the inhibitory effect of extracted against biofilm formation of some clinical strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, isolated from blood samples. In case of positive action, it was also evaluated the presence and the gene overexpression correlated to biofilm production.

Abstract
In case of positive action, it was also evaluated the presence and the gene overexpression correlated to biofilm production.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
