Il gioco del linguaggio e la dimensione pragmatica della metafora

This paper analyses the concept of language emerging by the metaphor “language is a game that men play” and highlights the role of situational context in the functioning of meaning, aiming to focus the pragmatic dimension of metaphor. This latter is intended as a cognitive tool involved in organizing our ways of life and thinking; so, we will argue the pervasive character of the metaphorizing game of language in everyday life.
