The Authors show some sensorial structures of the chelicerae and subcapitulum of Tetranychus urticae Koch (Tetranychoidea: Tetranychidae) and Cenopalpus pulcher (Canestrini & Fanzago) (Tetranychoidea: Tenuipalpidae), and of the chelicerae of Penthaleus major (Dugès) (Eupodoidea: Penthaleidae) using a transmission electron microscopes. A brief description and hypothesis on their function are discussed.
