In this paper we propose a model for the use of a social robot as mediator between the user and a smart environment. Since the speech is considered one of the more natural and immediate input channel in human-robot interaction we discuss the importance of recognizing both the linguistic content of the spoken sentence and the tone valence of the user voice in order to infer properly the user’s communication aim during the interaction.

Abstract
In this paper we propose a model for the use of a social robot as mediator between the user and a smart environment. Since the speech is considered one of the more natural and immediate input channel in human-robot interaction we discuss the importance of recognizing both the linguistic content of the spoken sentence and the tone valence of the user voice in order to infer properly the user’s communication aim during the interaction.File in questo prodotto:
