The study examines some problematic situations to assess how the “langue fantôm” conditions the impact of certain French novels of “Extreme contemporain” with the Italian cultural world. The different editorial interest for linguistic registers of Faïza guene and Pierre Autin-Grenier, the particular choices of titles by Ollivier Pourriol, by Michèle Desbordes, by Marie Nimier and the constraints imposed by the fictional complicity in polysemic words of Tanguy Viel, Jeanne Benameur and Pierre Senges question the specificity of the translation.
