Abstract
The study will be an interpretative model of the activities carried out by Italian merchants between the 15th and the 16th Century which starts by taking into account two different commercial perspectives: a more cautious one and a risky one. This very important distinction is then extended throughout the territory, as supported by the current bibliography and, in short, further divided into regions with a commercial vocation and regions that not only do not have such a vocation, but which also depend, to a certain extent, on the initiatives of foreign tradesmen. The following step was to consider whether, on the basis of this division, general motivations could be identified and attention was focused on the possible responsabilities of an Aristotelean-type economic though and the consequent concept of wealth.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
