Over the XX century, the industrial concentration has incresed in all the field of economics, resulting in a world that could be defined as oligopolistic, that is to say characterized by a reduced number of large companies. It does not mean that the smallcompanies have disappeard: on the countrary they go on working and are hundredsof thousands. The aim of this article is to analise a small company, ITEL telecomunicazioni S.r.l. of Ruvo di Puglia, a little town in province of Bari, located in the South, working in highly technological fields. Although conditioned by several restricting factors of business development, being typical of Apulia milieu, the above said company has several strong points that allow expansion of its activity on national as well as international level.
