An essential condition for IT support for strategic decisions in critical situations is Situation Awareness. It includes the correct real-time perception of what happens in operational scenarios through the analysis of the complexity of heterogeneous information from a multitude of sources. In this work, we present an architecture to provide Situation Awareness in Healthcare to support decision-makers in improving the National Healthcare System and assist emergency management.
