Agriculture uses many quantities of natural resources, especially freshwater, and the use of various digital tools, precision agriculture and ICT (Information Communication Technology) allow a significant reduction of these consumptions. This study developed a replicable framework to match GIS and LCA data via GIS with LCA, in a multi-criteria analysis. Specifically, the authors built an integrated framework LCA-GIS to support the environmental impact analysis and to provide a suitable tool for stakeholders involved in agriculture. Abstract

This study is part of GRINS (Growing, Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable) Programme, founded by Next Generation EU within the Italian recovery and resilience plan.
