Pervasive connectivity to the Internet paves the way to cyber threats, which are becoming more sophisticated and difficult to counteract. Phishing attack is one of the oldest, but still widespread threats, as it has evolved over the years. The impact of this attack compromises the security and privacy of information and knowledge transfer occurring on the Internet infrastructure. This paper aims at suggesting a new approach and technological solution to a phishing attack using CNN technologies to identify informative correlations between the images proposed by the browser and the URL of the website visited.
