The paper presents a methodology for the deterministic assessment of the landslide risk in chain areas at intermediate scale which is being developed within a multi-disciplinary research project. The procedure, which needs to be implemented in a GIS system, is being tested in the Daunia region (Southern Italy), where tectonised and fissured soils outcrop, but it is intended to be of reference for risk analysis and risk management within those areas characterized by similar geological contexts. A first application of such methodology to a specific urban centre from Daunia is also presented.

Abstract
The paper presents a methodology for the deterministic assessment of the landslide risk in chain areas at intermediate scale which is being developed within a multi-disciplinary research project. The procedure, which needs to be implemented in a GIS system, is being tested in the Daunia region (Southern Italy), where tectonised and fissured soils outcrop, but it is intended to be of reference for risk analysis and risk management within those areas characterized by similar geological contexts. A first application of such methodology to a specific urban centre from Daunia is also presented.File in questo prodotto:
