Construcția spațiului european

Abstract: The European Union cannot continue to present itself as a technicalbureaucratic organization, lest it definitively fade away. It must initiate a process of politicizing its fundamental decision-making structures and create political and social organizations with a supranational scope if it wants to survive. This is the hypothesis of the present essay. Preliminary to achieving these objectives is the severing of the umbilical cord that, since the inception of the European construction project, has subordinated every political advancement to a specific and prioritized economic framework. Obviously, the building of a European space cannot disregard the simultaneous realization of a genuine social Europe.
