Cereal crops show a better yield response when placed in rotations with legume crops. Beneficial influence of legumes appears to be linked to various positive effects, on the soil quality and nutrient availability (nitrogen and phosphorus), which improves the productivity and quality on subsequent cereal. The aspects linked to the quantification of the positive effect that the legume species exerts on the cereal in rotation represents interesting aspect, in order to identify a more suitable combination between legume and cereal which guarantees a more sustainable rotation, in line whit the new indications of EU Agrarian Politics.

Abstract
Cereal crops show a better yield response when placed in rotations with legume crops. Beneficial influence of legumes appears to be linked to various positive effects, on the soil quality and nutrient availability (nitrogen and phosphorus), which improves the productivity and quality on subsequent cereal. The aspects linked to the quantification of the positive effect that the legume species exerts on the cereal in rotation represents interesting aspect, in order to identify a more suitable combination between legume and cereal which guarantees a more sustainable rotation, in line whit the new indications of EU Agrarian Politics.File in questo prodotto:
