The constant growth of tourism over the years has highlighted the great potential of the sector in Albania. A varied territory rich in flora and fauna, made up of mountain ranges and surrounded by stretches of beautiful coasts. The results obtained, must be maintained and further increased to tackle the challenges on the long term. Undoubtedly, in order to achieve these objectives and assert tourism in European and international scenarios, it is necessary to focus on sustainable tourism. Sustainability in tourism begins with the construction of a system of sustainable destinations supported by constant monitoring of the territory and the local reality. Consequently, a series of sustainability indicators are created for the management of destinations as specified also by the European Agenda 2030. The work presented starts from the European tourism sustainability indicators and treats them with a statistical methodology.
