Seven genotype, founded in the ‘San Severo’ D.O.C. area and previously recorded and characterized for the amphelographic and genomic profile, were further studied with an autoctonous cultivar representing the varietal base of the local d.o.c., cv Bombino bianco, having positive referencial characteristics. All genotypes showed interesting behavior. Among them, three seemed deserving to be safeguarded and promoted for production of different kind of wine.
Sette genotipi, reperiti in agro ricadente nell’area D.O.C. ‘San Severo’ e precedentemente catalogati e caratterizzati sotto il profilo genomico ed ampelografico, sono stati ulteriormente studiati in copresenza di un vitigno autoctono costituente la base varietale della locale d.o.c., il ‘Bombino bianco’, avente utili caratteristiche referenziali. Degno di nota il positivo comportamento generale dei genotipi individuati. Tre di essi parrebbero meritevoli di valorizzazione per differenti tipologie di prodotto finale.
