This paper takes its cue from the analysis of a document - in this case the Plan for the Ecological Transition (approved on 8 March 2022 by the CITE, Interministerial Committee for the Ecological Transition) - which seems to stimulate debate among scholars and start a reflection extended on the theme of ecological transition, not only on a technical level, but also in its important cultural and socio-economic implications, which certainly deserve further study and which will have positive consequences also in relation to the issue of gender equality. The Plan specifically pursues the aim of offering a general overview of the strategy for the Italian ecological transition, also defining a conceptual framework for the interventions envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This is a new national planning tool that was conceived with the establishment of the Ministry of Ecological Transition itself and the Interministerial Committee of the Ecological Transition in implementation of the provisions of law 22 April 2021, n. 55. The Ecological Transition Plan will have to coordinate the following policies: to. reduction of climate-changing gas emissions; b. sustainable mobility; c. contrast to hydrogeological instability and soil consumption; d. water resources and related infrastructure; And. air quality; f. circular economy. In its premises, the Pte states its intention to pursue a systemic approach, characterized by a holistic and integrated vision, which includes the conservation of biodiversity and the preservation of ecosystem services, integrating health and the economy and pursuing the quality of life and social equity.
