In this article are presented preliminary data on the archaeological investigations carried out in the years 2017-2018 at the northern and western sectors of the ancient theater of Agrigento. The excavations have enriched the framework of knowledge, already partially outlined at the end of the first campaign in 2016, with regard to the modalities and time of the reoccupation of the area in the postclassical age and of the spoliation of the structures belonging to the theater.
