While reviewing legal, criminological, and psychological-psychiatric forensic aspects of stalking, we focused on the link between the onset of harassing behaviors, adverse childhood experiences and in-secure-entangled attachment, by presenting the main results of the research on this topic. Further in-vestigations are necessary to increase understanding and knowledge on stalking and the major vul-nerability factors as well as to develop effective prevention programs and intervention strategies tar-geting stalkers. This information could be useful to the police and to the various professionals who work in helping contexts for the protection of victims, and in the penitentiary system with criminologi-cal and re-educational treatment programs for stalking perpetrators.
