Periferie e rigenerazione urbana: il caso della città di Bari

Peripheries and urban regeneration: case study of the city of Bari. - The outburst of the peripheries and of the rebellion indicate the collapse of a social and territorial model that becomes more and more exclusive, for very few people. From that new poverties have emerged due to the temporary work, the advent of outsourcing and of new global competitive products, the migrations, which are considered as something to be afraid of instead of being accepted consciously in a multiethnic logic. From that arise a view of limited social cohesiveness. The use of the centre – periphery model had a prescriptive function in the creation of organizational processes and the peripheries have become the protagonists of a relation of influencing the quality of life in the urban centers. This is what it will be attempted to confirm in the city of Bari both for the elements that characterized it in a distinctive way and for values equivalent to other realities.
