A new bimetallic amperometric sensor based on a Pt electrode modified, by direct drop casting, with TeO2 nanowires (TeO2-NWs), synthesized by thermal evaporation of Te(0) in an oxygen atmosphere is proposed for detection of H2O2 to oxidative-reductive work potential. In this contest, the spectroscopic characterization of the TeO 2-NWs and the TeO2 NWs/Pt modified electrodes was performed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis. Moreover electrochemical characterization of TeO2-NWs/Pt modified electrodes was performed by Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) in phosphate buffer (pH = 7; I = 0.2) without H2O2 and after successive H2O2 additions. Spectroscopic and electrochemical results indicate that TeO2-NWs/Pt composite is suitable to be used as material for sensing applications. © 2014 Springer Science+Business Media.

Abstract
© 2014 Springer Science+Business Media.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
