The study of the charmed meson decays is getting a renewable interest because it provides a critical input to the CKM-γ measurements. In addition the discovery of new physics can be revealed in the search for the mixing ; CP violation ; the large coupling to the light mesons makes charm decays an important probe of light meson spectroscopy. The Dalitz plot technique ; a selection of recent experimental results are briefly reviewed. © Società Italiana di Fisica.
