Starting from Rembrandt and the Ricoeurian interpretation of the famous painting Aristotle touches the bust of Homer, this essay focuses on the text/interview with Paul Ricoeur Arts, Languages and Hermeneutic Aesthetics. Trying to indicate the innovative themes of the interview, Caputo identifies (as a link-category between the philosophy of art and philosophy of life) the question of singularity, and the possibility/impossibility of communicating the naked experience that characterizes it.
