The antifungal activity of polymer based copper nanocomposite coatings was discussed. The antifungal were spinnable coatings with controlled copper releasing properties. Electrochemical synthesis was performed to prepare the Cu nanoparticles in an alkyl ammonium micellar environment. It was observed that fungal growth was inhibited on the nanocomposite-coated materials, and the antifungal activity could be modulated by controlling the Cu nanoparticle loading.

Abstract
The antifungal activity of polymer based copper nanocomposite coatings was discussed. The antifungal were spinnable coatings with controlled copper releasing properties. Electrochemical synthesis was performed to prepare the Cu nanoparticles in an alkyl ammonium micellar environment. It was observed that fungal growth was inhibited on the nanocomposite-coated materials, and the antifungal activity could be modulated by controlling the Cu nanoparticle loading.File in questo prodotto:
