The article deals with the relationship between speech and silence in the works of Austrian writer Peter Waterhouse. The very high frequency of questioning has the task of showing the difficulty of adequately represent the objects and experiences of the subject. Waterhouse uses questioning as a means to overcome these limitations and bring up the possibility of language development in a mystical sense.
