The sector of cellular phones in the last decade has faced various challenges in many areas of marketing and technology. The advent of the cellular phone has stimulated a new pattern of communication in all sections of the population. For this reason technological innovation is a strategic key to support consumers demand or to stimulate it, and to reach a higher competitiveness of companies. A good level of competitiveness is significant to have business in a market with continuous expansion trend. Therefore, it appears necessary to select and to identify quality indicators in order to guarantee either flexibility and better performance for the manufacturing companies or better guarantees for consumers. The aim of this study is to illustrate the evolution of the characteristics of cellular phones (from analogical system to UMTS, passing from the digital) and to analyse this sector from a market or legislative point of view. It will be possible to supply economic-environmental detailed information and to explain how these innovations have contributed to improve the quality of the products to protect consumers.

Abstract
It will be possible to supply economic-environmental detailed information and to explain how these innovations have contributed to improve the quality of the products to protect consumers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
