This contribution deals with textual restoration, identification and attribution to Polybius of an anonymous fragment of the Suda lexicon. The fragment deals with the famous travel to Greece of Lucius Aemilius Paullus, the victor of Pydna. Another fragment, formerly attributed to Polybius, but so far without a precise textual location, is also referred to the same story.
