This chapter explores the ex-libris and ownership history of classical texts—specifically Achilles Tatius's novel and Quintilian's Institutio oratoria—belonging to the personal library of the noblewoman and cultural patron Antonia Suardi Ponti (1860–1938), now preserved at the University of Bari. Tracing the provenance of these volumes back to the historic "Libreria Piatti", the study highlights Suardi Ponti’s significant role in promoting women's education, public reading, and cultural heritage in late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Italy.
