Osservazioni filologiche sulle ricette mediche nel manoscritto Londra, Wellcome Library, 307

A section of the composite manuscript, London, Wellcome Library, 307, is analyzed to demonstrate that it consists of a selection of medical recipes from the Antidotarium of Pseudo-Mesue in a Tuscan-Venetian translation distinct from the translation otherwise widely attested in manuscripts and in the printed Vulgate. The demonstration is based on the content and the language of the small corpus, of which a future independent edition, based on this single manuscript, is proposed.

Si analizza una sezione del manoscritto composito Londra, Wellcome Library, 307, dimostrando ch’essa tramanda una scelta di ricette mediche dell’Antidotarium dello Pseudo Mesue in traduzione tosco-veneta autonoma da quella altrimenti molto diffusa nei manoscritti e nella vulgata a stampa. La dimostrazione avviene in base a osservazioni relative ai contenuti e alla lingua del piccolo corpus, del quale si propone una futura edizione autonoma a testimone unico.
