AUTORITÀ E LIBERTÀ DELL’ARTE

The paper examines the relationship between authority and freedom in art, with a particular focus on the fascist period and the early post-war years in Italy, highlighting how artistic movements are influenced by historical events and changes in the political and social context. Special attention is given to Article 33 of the Constitution and the debate in the Constituent Assembly. The different perspectives regarding the limitations and promotion of artistic freedom are analyzed, as well as the importance of guaranteeing the freedom of art in a democratic and constitutional context.

L’articolo esamina il rapporto tra autorità e libertà nell'arte, con un focus particolare al periodo fascista e al primo dopoguerra in Italia, evidenziando come le correnti artistiche siano influenzate dagli eventi storici e dai mutamenti del contesto politico-sociale. Un particolare sguardo viene riservato all’art. 33 della Costituzione e al dibattito in Assemblea costituente. Vengono analizzate le differenti prospettive riguardanti le limitazioni e la promozione della libertà artistica e l’importanza di garantire la libertà dell'arte in un contesto democratico e costituzionale.
