Introducing the concluding roundtable of the PRIN Conference (Naples, 25 November 2024), this chapter presents an in-depth interview with Giuseppe Rossini, an expert in assistive technologies, focusing on digital accessibility for users with visual impairments. The discussion provides a detailed overview of the current legislative and regulatory frameworks governing web accessibility, while also addressing the persistent structural and design-related challenges that continue to affect many digital platforms, including those developed in academic and institutional contexts. Within this framework, the chapter critically assesses the accessibility features of the SENS archive, highlighting both its strengths and key areas for improvement. These include screen reader compatibility, semantic structuring, multilingual language tagging, interactive elements and visual maps. The interview further considers the implications of linking the archive to external open-access resources, emphasising the need for transparency and ongoing monitoring of their accessibility.
