Abstract
Aldhelm, abbot, bishop and man of letters, was a simbolic figure of VII century England, characterized by wars between different kingdoms that often resulted in acts of atrocities. He left us an interesting corpus of letters that constitues a privileged observatory for considering the reciprocal reations and exchanges that took place in the VII century between the two Christian cultures, that of Irish origin and that of Anglo saxon origin.File in questo prodotto:
