The research project pursues a dual objective: on the one hand, to promote an awareness campaign focused on environmental issues; on the other, to restore poetry to a position of centrality. It seeks to achieve these aims through the systematic surveying and cataloguing of Spanish poetic texts which, from the late nineteenth century to the present day, have displayed a marked sensitivity to ecological thought, to the extent that they may be regarded as constituting a collective poetic manifesto in defense of the ecosystem. Accordingly, the project involves the creation of a corpus that currently comprises approximately one thousand “green” poems, organized in chronological order and accompanied by detailed bibliographic entries.

Abstract
The research project pursues a dual objective: on the one hand, to promote an awareness campaign focused on environmental issues; on the other, to restore poetry to a position of centrality. It seeks to achieve these aims through the systematic surveying and cataloguing of Spanish poetic texts which, from the late nineteenth century to the present day, have displayed a marked sensitivity to ecological thought, to the extent that they may be regarded as constituting a collective poetic manifesto in defense of the ecosystem. Accordingly, the project involves the creation of a corpus that currently comprises approximately one thousand “green” poems, organized in chronological order and accompanied by detailed bibliographic entries.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
