Umanisti, pastori e cavalieri alla corte degli Este: l’"Arcadia" tra le "Pastorali" e il "Furioso"

This contribution aims to investigate the influence of Iacopo Sannazaro’s "Arcadia" on the literary production that flourished at the Este court between the late 15th and early 16th centuries, starting with Boiardo’s "Pastorali". Through analysis and comparison of texts belonging to different genres, the study seeks to demonstrate how the hybrid structure of the prosimetrum and its complex intertextuality established "Arcadia" as a thematic, stylistic, and lexical reservoir for Ferrarese writers.

Il contributo intende indagare gli influssi che l’"Arcadia" di Iacopo Sannazaro ha esercitato sulla produzione letteraria fiorita presso la corte estense tra la fine del XV e l’inizio del XVI secolo, a partire dalle "Pastorali" di Boiardo. Attraverso l’analisi e il confronto di testi appartenenti a generi differenti, si tenta quindi di dimostrare come la struttura ibrida del prosimetro e la sua complessa intertestualità abbiano reso l’"Arcadia" un serbatoio tematico, stilistico e lessicale per i letterati ferraresi.
