The article presents an educational curriculum, Youth Voices, designed to promote adolescents’ civic engagement and competences in the context of secondary school. The curriculum was developed drawing inspiration from the Council of Europe’s Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture (RFCDC) and the Positive Youth Development (PYD) model. The curriculum includes a series of activities that enable young people to actively exercise their competences through regeneration initiatives in areas shared by the school community. Adolescents are encouraged to express their opinions, needs and visions regarding the urban spaces around them, promoting informed and inclusive participation in the community.

Abstract
