In this paper we introduce and discuss a criterion for the collection and analysis of the knowledge shown by two groups of experts involved in three iterations of an email-based computer-assisted Delphi-type interviewing of human resource offices. The research contents are the profiles, in terms of technical competencies, personality traits, employment forecasting and education environment pertinent to technicians on HR management and HR improvement. The experts are human resource directors of large and medium size companies and Italian university teachers. The knowledge we hypothesize is possessed by experts, dependent on their expertise, is to be correlated with their opinions on professional figures’ representation. The data are analyzed also through multivariate statistical methods.
