Scientific edition of an unpublished Christian inscription, of uncertain origin but very likely pertaining to Rome, from a child’s sarcophagus that reached the collection of the Museo Nazionale Romano at the Baths of Diocletian under unknown circumstances. The inscription features the rare coexistence of both the birth date and the death date of the young deceased, and can be dated to the second half of the fourth century.
Edizione scientifica di un'epigrafe cristiana, inedita, incertae originis ma molto probabilmente pertinente a Roma, di un sarcofago infantile giunto in circostanze ignote nella collezione del Museo Nazionale Romano alle Terme di Diocleziano. L'epigrafe presenta una rara compresenza della menzione della data di nascita e della data di morte del giovane defunto, e può datarsi nella seconda metà del secolo IV.
