In this paper the synthesis and characterization of tetraphenylborate transition -metal complexes are discussed. BPh4- is shown to act as a 2- to24-electron donor. Some specific features of the reactivity of tetraphenylborate anion in the presence of transition metal centers are also discussed. The ability of BPh4- to act as a "total" phenylating agent is documented.

Abstract
In this paper the synthesis and characterization of tetraphenylborate transition -metal complexes are discussed. BPh4- is shown to act as a 2- to24-electron donor. Some specific features of the reactivity of tetraphenylborate anion in the presence of transition metal centers are also discussed. The ability of BPh4- to act as a "total" phenylating agent is documented.File in questo prodotto:
