The term "Latin Roman code" is intended to define the corpus juri scivilis of Justinian which continued to be used in the jurisprudence of the Courts of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. Specifically are considered some judgments of the Civil High Court of Trani in which is continued to be used the Digest fragments, despite the formal abolition of Roman law after the adoption of Napoleonic Civil Code in the Kingdom of Naples.
