The present research paper aims at the approach of some models of assessment of the level of sustainability that characterizes the tourism sector within a country or a specific geographical area, with a focus on the Balkan region, in particular Albania, which in this historical stage is receiving strong development pressure in this sector. Proposing a model that can somehow weigh the level of sustainability that the tourism sector reserves, it seems to us that it can receive appropriate attention and consideration, especially in this initial phase of development, in which any corrections dictated by the model, would have a greater impact and consequent profitable effectiveness. The need to hypothesize an evaluation system is consistent with the stochastic basic rule that characterizes every human phenomenon, and that to a different extent, compared to its components, also weighs on the tourism sector. Therefore, some numerical models were used so that to allow us to provide, through the evaluation of appropriate variables linked to socio-economic and income aspects that identify elements directly or indirectly linked to sustainability, in order to come up with an assessment of the level of the same, in field of economy and / or productivity in the tourism sector. The main objective of this research paper is to be able to provide some indicators that can be used both in the planning stage of government policies, as well as in the implementation and management stage of a country's resources, in order to contribute to a quality of life, the environment and of economy, of the community, increasingly sustainable
