The paper investigates the city as a construction of matter and time to be drawn. The first part briefly sets out some of the fundamentals behind the Bohob’s research. The second part will deal with the Drawing of the City of Catania as an example of a stratified city plan drawn up today. The third part will trace the essential coordinates of an ongoing PhD research that aims to innovate the drawing of the forma urbis through the new tools of representation.
