In the time of digital technologies, family education is called to new challenges. If on the one hand it is the task of parents to educate their children in the conscious and responsible use of these new technologies, promoting a healthy relationship with digital devices, on the other hand it is necessary that contexts of growth and promotion of the person, such as workplaces, be practiced in the light of a solid educational background that cannot but start from the family and find in daily practice further moment of development. This is by the ethical implications found in the use/confrontation with intelligent machines, and directly related to doing work, represent a further hermeneutic-interpretive challenge for pedagogical knowledge. Family education is called to promote awareness of the risks and opportunities offered by digital contexts, starting with a dialogical openness, of discussing digital experiences, sharing concerns, and supporting each other. An authentic praxis for managing complex issues.
