ECONOMIC INCENTIVES FOR THE MUSEUM SECTOR IN THE SINGLE MARKET

This essay examines the regulatory framework governing State Aid for museums, emphasizing the unique features of this sector, which is closely tied to the cultural exception outlined in article 107 (3) (d) of the Treaty on the functioning of the European Union (TFEU). Special attention is given to the actions implemented for these museums before and after the pandemic, highlighting the evolution of these support policies over time

Il saggio illustra la disciplina degli aiuti di Stato per i musei, mettendo in luce le peculiarità di tale settore legato strettamente all'eccezione culturale contenuta nell'art. 107 par. 2 lett. d) dedicata alle azioni intraprese in favore di tali luoghi della cultura prima e dopo la pandemia evidenziando come sono cambiate nel tempo le politiche in loro favore.
