In the original article published online on December 23, 2019 (Song et al 2019), a new species was described as Pluteus cutefractus Ferisin, Do-vana & Justo, MycoBank no MB 823569 The cited identifier was however issued for another name, Pluteus bizioi Ferisin, Dovana & Justo (Ferisin et al 2019) The name Pluteus cutefractus is therefore invalid due to Art F.5.1 of the Shenzhen Code (lYir-land et al 2018) The species is validated here.
