TLC e leadership: per una modellistica di FD (faculty development) italiana a partire dalle Linee Guida Anvur sul riconoscimento e valorizzazione della docenza universitaria

As is known among the investments from mission 4 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), 3.4 is centered on Advanced university teaching and skills with the prospect of establishing «3 Teaching and Learning Centers to improve teaching skills (including digital skills) of teachers in universities and teachers in schools, in all disciplines including those traditionally less digitally oriented». The TLCs, some of which have already started up in more than one Italian university, should contribute to satisfying the needs for the develop- ment of the quality and innovation of teaching expressed by the various components of the university community, taking care of the connection with the departments and services of the University and the bodies of the teaching area. The essay outlines the tracking points of the ongoing path in relation to this objective which intercepts that enormous need for investment in ‘human capital’ necessary to avoid, among other things, the expected drop in university enrollments due to the demographic winter.
