New Public Management (NPM) is a management theory that emerged in the 1980s and 1990s as a response to dissatisfaction with traditional public administration approaches. NPM emphasizes the use of market-based techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of public services. This approach seeks to promote accountability and performance measurement. Key Performance Indicators describe the performance trends of processes that characterize a specific workflow. These processes under examination can be of various types (e.g., knowledge-based, production-based, systemic). Indicators help describe and evaluate the actions of complex organizations and institutions with high workloads. The process of modernization and streamlining of the justice system offers a new organizational model. In this perspective, the project envisages a work of data collection and performance evaluation at the judicial offices of reference. The process of modernization and streamlining of the justice system puts the Process Office at the core. This represents the support structure for the work of the judicial offices with a view to the adoption of a new organizational model. In this perspective, the project envisages a work of data collection and performance evaluation at the judicial offices of reference. The aim is to analyse these processes and identify the main causes of slowdowns in the processing of court cases. It is possible to adopt the KPI approach to the evaluation of the court process at the courts involved in the project by using the data collected by the trial offices.

Abstract
It is possible to adopt the KPI approach to the evaluation of the court process at the courts involved in the project by using the data collected by the trial offices.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
