This book contains an analysis of Pierre Bergounioux’s narrative prose produced between 1984 and 1995. For each text, creative mechanisms are identified to highlight some structures at the basis of the writer’s imagery; then, this ten-year production is seen from a new perspective to propose a global reading of a writing path and life which is peculiar and emblematic of a specific form of contemporary French literature. In 2007, the volume was awarded the Literary Prize of French Studies "Terme di Saint-Vincent" (15th edition).
