The paper attempts to reconstruct the original structure of Livy's late antique manuscript of which sixty folios survive, reused as palimpsests in the Verona Codex XL (38). On the basis of an analysis of the writing and codicological characteristics, the codex is compared to another Late Antique witness of the Histories of Livy, the fragment now at the Vatican Library (Vat. lat. 10696), with which it shares the dating and the field of production.

Abstract
The paper attempts to reconstruct the original structure of Livy's late antique manuscript of which sixty folios survive, reused as palimpsests in the Verona Codex XL (38). On the basis of an analysis of the writing and codicological characteristics, the codex is compared to another Late Antique witness of the Histories of Livy, the fragment now at the Vatican Library (Vat. lat. 10696), with which it shares the dating and the field of production.File in questo prodotto:
