Il presente articolo vuole analizzare il fenomeno della moda partendo dal pensiero di Georg Simmel, esplorando le sue teorie sulla differenziazione sociale e l’imitazione. Secondo Simmel, la moda permette alle élite di distinguersi e alle classi inferiori di emulare stili superiori, innescando un ciclo continuo di cambiamento. La moda funge da equilibrio tra individualismo e conformismo, consentendo alle persone di differenziarsi e integrarsi simultaneamente.
