Museums play a vital role in safeguarding and preserving cultural heritage and providing educational experiences. However, people with visual impairment face significant challenges in trying to access and interact with museum exhibits. Currently, museums are dedicated to enhancing education and inclusion through the use of technology. It is of utmost importance to appreciate the educational and technological advances achieved through the adoption of new tools, with an approach that is cross-cultural and intergenerational. This implies adapting exhibition messages to the diversity of audiences, paying special attention to people with disabilities (Llamazares De Prado & Arias Gago, 2023). This paper, through an exploratory approach, aims to survey data that emerged from a survey involving the administration of an online questionnaire to individuals with visual impairment, blind and visually impaired. The objective of the survey is to better understand what encourages people to attend museums, dissuades them from visiting, and what new aspects one would like to see incorporated into exhibitions, with reference to new technologies, to improve the visitor experience and make it more accessible and inclusive.

Abstract
The objective of the survey is to better understand what encourages people to attend museums, dissuades them from visiting, and what new aspects one would like to see incorporated into exhibitions, with reference to new technologies, to improve the visitor experience and make it more accessible and inclusive.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
