The Fair and Sustainable Wellbeing System (BES) with the related data and indicators proposed by the Institute of Official Statistics in Italy is closely linked to the Italian territory. Through the BES indicators monitored by ISTAT it is possible to trace the state of health of the territory. In this work we took into account all the BES indicators belonging to the "Quality of services" domain. We focused on this aspect because we believe that the quality of services is a very relevant domain for understanding the degree of sustainability of the territory with respect to the needs of its inhabitants. We started from a spatial cluster analysis trying to optimize the analysis by opting for a comparison of Euclidean and Mahalanobis dissimilarity matrix methods. Subsequently we built Key Performance Indicators through the Principal Components Analysis and finally a territorial ranking was drawn up to analyze and evaluate the quality of services in Italy.
